Utility Programs
Our Utility and Council Vegetation Services are specifically tailored for each customer. For some major utilities we manage the full spectrum of the ‘clearance space’ activities around their assets including rolling 3 year cyclic inspections, clearing works, annual bushfire preparedness programs, maintaining customer and council trees through to delivering client controlled scoped work packages.
Many of our utility program contracts are large long term arrangements where the Vemco Group focus is to provide a total risk management approach that optimises regulatory expenditure cycles and improved vegetation related outage and asset failure performance. Our major utility customers include: CitiPower, Powercor, Western Power, Energex, Country Energy, TransGrid and ElectraNet.
Our workforce has a mix of in-house experts ranging through to local contractors who understand the local environment and how to connect and work with people in their own locality.
We provide consultancy services including due diligence works to multinational utilities seeking to purchase utility assets within Australia. These large scale consultancies have been to establish the status of regulatory compliance and projected expenditure against the vegetation management function.
Typical services provided includes the review of existing strategies, budgets, resource performance, quality of works, health & safety audits and compliance auditing.
