Council & Sustainability
Our Municipality, Council and Shire Vegetation Services are tailored for our customer and their constituents. Our programs include inspections & removal, annual bushfire preparedness programs and maintaining customer and council trees. We also have a strong focus on State Departments of Sustainability where a key imperative is preserving the sustainability and longevity of natural forests and woodlands.
Many of our activities are aimed at “preserving the vegetation” in order to enhance visual impact, preserve a valuable historic or important vegetation asset or generally improve the general environmental amenity of an area. Where removal of vegetation is required to meet code, minimise recurring work, or make an area safe and accessible we have a variety of services that can be used. These services include the following:
- Vegetation Strategy Development
- Tree pruning & removal/Vegetation cutting using Live Line techniques (electrical).
- Removal of dead and dangerous limbs, uplifting and thinning.
- Data Collection
- Stump grinding, Slashing, Mulching, Grubbing & other mechanical treatment methods.
- Re-vegetation/planting of replacement trees.
- Herbicide application.
We also provide consulting services whereby we also review existing vegetation strategies, budgets, resource performance, quality of works, health & safety audits and compliance auditing.
